Today's Two Buck Tuesday installment of the Horror Movie October graphic design calendar card series is the found-footage cautionary tale about overdosing on scare houses, The Houses October Built. 

"The Houses October Built"

This fantastic lo-fi found-footage film from the producers of Insidious and Paranormal Acitivity,  starts harmless enough, but before you know it the characters are popping in and out of random scare rooms throughout their lives. Plus, it includes footage from actual scare houses which is always a delight to see if you can't make it to one. 

For this piece I attempted to capture the essence of rickety architecture and vibrant life interspersed throughout the changes colors that accompany fall all laid over imagery from the film.
